Day 8 - Big Little Brush

Day 8 - Big Little Brush

For the Eighth Ethical day of Christmas we are giving away a Four Pack of Big Little Brushes and a memobottle. Simply follow both @biglittlebrush and @memobottle on Instagram and tag a friend to enter. The winner will be announced on the 15th of December.

Big little brush is a social enterprise based in Melbourne that sells beautiful bamboo toothbrushes and uses 100% of the profits to help fund primary health programs in indigenous communities in Australia.

EVERY PLASTIC TOOTHBRUSH EVER MADE, STILL EXISTS TODAY.

This is terrible news for our planet! The solution is simple: swap to bamboo and together we can make the world a better place.

In the United States alone it is estimated that over 850 million toothbrushes are discarded and end up in landfill every single year.

Big little brushes are made from bamboo and nylon 4 which means they'll only take about a year to break down instead of 600 years, like the icky plastic ones. Since no one gets excited about plastic toothbrushes, Big Little Brush thoughtfully designed theirs in Melbourne (like us!) to make sure they look rad in your bathroom.

Did we mention that 100% of the profits go to help fund primary health programs in indigenous communities in Australia? The money is used towards teaching children the essential elements to good health including nutrition, hygiene, substance misuse and physical activity.
